Kia Gregory is a journalist drawn to people living on the margins. In her work, she often shows how people and their neighborhoods are affected by public policy. Gregory has written for the New Yorker and The Atlantic, and has been on staff at the New York Times, the Philadelphia Inquirer, and the Philadelphia Weekly, covering issues around education, economic redevelopment and criminal justice. Gregory, a Philadelphia native, lives in New York. She has received numerous awards for her enterprise reporting and writing, and is a proud alumna of Temple University.
